As food prices increase and many face greater food insecurities, there is a global concern about financing agriculture growth in the developing world. Accelerated agriculture growth is not only needed to meet global demand for food energy but is also seen as the main pathway out of hunger and poverty for many impoverished people and countries. Agriculture is an important part of Ghana’s economy and contributes roughly 20% of the Gross Domestic Product. Despite the contribution agriculture has on our economy, the challenges faced by this sector are poor infrastructure; thus land acquisition, lack irrigation system, high transportation cost, social and environmental problems, and tenure issues. Agri Greenhub project is the key to addressing these problems currently faced by Ghana. The project has three main aspects that provide an economic opportunity to the individuals that have an interest in farming.
